Scallywags, Child Care Centre, opened its modern place in 1986, providing long day care of 41 kids from age six weeks to 5 years, with confined occasional care available for 1/2 days.

The center is centrally positioned inside the coronary heart of Bathurst, behind the ambulance station, with a view of Haymarket Reserve. Scallywags is dedicated to supporting the desires of families and children with the aid of imparting excessive nice care and early childhood education.

They are looking to employ a mural artist to enliven and prompt a feature wall.

THE Bathurst Arts Trail is a collective of artists throughout the Bathurst vicinity who open their galleries to traffic on every Art’s Trail Open Weekend, which is the primary weekend of every month.

All of our artists are satisfied to have visitors to their galleries by using appointment because they cannot attend on a trial weekend.

Entry to all studios and galleries is free from 10 am-2pm this Saturday and Sunday.

Exhibitions’ last days

THREE exhibitions now showing at the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery will close this weekend.

Eurovision: Contemporary Art from the Goldberg Collection offers a snapshot of modern European Art drawn from the collection of Lisa and Danny Goldberg OAM.

It provides a colorful move-phase of new trends in worldwide art, showcasing the diversity and exuberance of progressive practices and present-day culture.

Fabrice Cazenave: The Garden of Shadows is a solo show with the aid of Paris-based totally artist Fabrice Cazenave supplying a frame of labor developed at some stage in his residency in Hill End.

Based on the allegory of Plato’s Cave, Cazenave made big charcoal drawings on canvas of the shadows of the cottage.
