Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has made 3 main modifications to the sample for the intermediate exam to be observed from the 2019-21 session.
Students will now be capable of select two language subjects in their desire. Earlier, Paper 1 had NRB- Hindi (50 Marks) and MB (Alternative English/Maithili/Urdu) (50 Marks) even as in paper 2, students had to be selected amongst subjects like English, Hindi, Urdu, Maithili, Sanskrit, Prakrit, Magahi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Arabic or Persian. With this pattern, students were allowed to select English or Hindi in both papers which created confusion and repetition.
In a press convention, BSEB chairman Anand Kishor informed that the BSEB board constituted a committee and studied other national forums and CBSE patterns and determined to make sure of changes.
This year, college students will select Hindi or English on paper 1, so one can be of a hundred marks, and on paper 2, they could choose any of the 12 languages given as an alternative. However, they may no longer be allowed to choose the same situation in both papers. Both the language paper will deliver 100 marks every.
From this consultation, students will get a choice to select the sixth paper. Earlier, there had been the simplest five papers wearing total marks of 500. These 5 papers included paper 1 (language), paper 2 (language), and three compulsory subjects of the selected streams (arts, technological know-how, trade). Students can choose a sixth paper related to the particular move or any of the 12 languages as an extra subject from this year.
For instance, art college students can select records, political science, and geography as the main subjects psychology philosophy sociology, and many others as the extra sixth subject. Students can also be selected amongst any of the 12 language subjects because the 6th paper but the language decided on in paper 1 or 2 should not be repeated in the 6th paper.
This may also permit the technological know-how to circulate college students to select Biology because the sixth paper although they’ve PCM- physics, chemistry, and mathematics as primary papers. Earlier, science students were allowed to choose between multimedia, maths, and pc science as the additional paper. Now, biology has been introduced to the listing.
The 0.33 exchange made via BSEB makes a specialty of growing the skip percentage of the board and lowering the possibility of a student failing the exam.
With the advent of the 6th paper (extra difficulty), if a scholar fails in any individual of the papers, the marks of the sixth paper could be evaluated as the primary subject.
